Here is an interesting wiki on wikispaces about Vokies in education. It's called Voices of the World. Click on it and listen to the different languages and accents from these kids of the World.

Let's Get Voki 4!
Hi mates! This is another idea to use Voki. To show different accents. It is clear the accents aren't perfect (a weakness!), but one can tell the difference. XOXO
Let's Get Voki 3!
Hi again! Don't you think Voki is also useful for quick dictation? And small texts can be dictated in different accents. I'll try this with younger students and let you know. XOXO

Let´s Get Voki 2!
I think this tool can be used with all ages but 1st to 7th forms are sure to be more receptive to this kind of tool, because of the pictures that are much more appelative to children and preteens. It can be used to make a short dialogue between two students when recording with a microphone but it can only be up to 60 seconds long. It is fantastic to test our students' creativity because it allows them to upload any image as background, so they can use one of their own that they have created or taken from the Internet.
It's a very interactive tool. It involves talking and working together and leaving comments to other students' avatars. It can also be played automatically when Voki loads.
