Let´s Get Voki 2!

I think this tool can be used with all ages but 1st to 7th forms are sure to be more receptive to this kind of tool, because of the pictures that are much more appelative to children and preteens. It can be used to make a short dialogue between two students when recording with a microphone but it can only be up to 60 seconds long. It is fantastic to test our students' creativity because it allows them to upload any image as background, so they can use one of their own that they have created or taken from the Internet.
It's a very interactive tool. It involves talking and working together and leaving comments to other students' avatars. It can also be played automatically when Voki loads.

  1. Hi! I agree with you when you say Vokis are better for younger students, but this week I'm going to try using them with my older students and see what happens. I'm going to show them our blog and how to use and create a Voki. Then I'll show them the differences in pronunciation, from British Engish, American, Scottish, etc...see what I can get!

  2. Students may even create a whole story with different characters. I think it can stimulate students' creativity.
